With the mail application is open, access 'Settings' (from the gear icon in the bottom left) and select 'Accounts' (top right). If no accounts are present this will be the first and only option you will see.
Once in Accounts, select 'Add account'
A window will prompt you to select what type of account, we want 'Other account'
Next, you will be prompted to enter your Texas.net Email address and Password and attempt to log in (This option will be in place of the Advanced setting). If the login fails after a few attempts, you will be prompted to select 'Advanced' to access further account setting information,
Lastly, you will be requested for the following information:
Username: This is the email address
Incoming mail server: imap.texas.net
Outgoing mail server: smtp.texas.net
